04Sewing on Spikes
Step 1: Using the longer tail end, sew one tail spike on to one side of the tail by going in through the end of the tail to an adjacent stitch up the tail.
Step 2: Then sew around the bridging ch between the two spikes and back into the same stitch you came from. Exit in an adjacent stitch.
Step 3: Finally using the other tail end sew the second spike into an adjacent stitch further up the tail and exit from the same stitch you exited in step 2.
Repeat this on the opposite side of the tail.
05Sewing on Spine
Highly suggested to use the video tutorial for this section.
To sew on the spine use the long tail end of the spine and begin sewing up the tail and along the back of the dino. In the base of every spine spike work into the side of the connecting stitch.
Work around each bridging chain and into the same stitch you exited to keep the spine spikes looking more individual.
When you get to the head and the last spike, exit to an adjacent stitch. Using the other tail end of the spine, sew into the head and out through the same stitch you exited with the other long tail end. Double knot, cut and hide in the body.
im in love with this pattern
I love your patterns! They are so cute!
Very easy! very cute!
He‘s so cute & loved crocheting him <3
I think a need smaller eyes bc I had problems stuffing the head.
But I‘ll make more of this one … so many colour combos possible & my niece loves playing with them.
Your video helped a lot!
Thanks.
I made this and the other dinos for my baby cousins and they absolutely love them! Thank you so much for making all these patterns!
For the spine and spikes it doesn’t say to only use the back loops which was confusing for me
Loved making this little one! Thank you.
Hey Louie! It looks like after 54:07 in the video, it just shows a black screen for the next ~50 minutes. Just wanted to let you know!
Lol. whoops. Good catch! Fixed!!
